Dunedin Duck Shoot 2013
102 hard core shooters turned out on a wet and miserable day in Dunedin last week at the Allan Millars HF shoot. However, the damp weather didn’t dampen enthusiasm as the locals took the opportunity to try the new Beretta A400 family of shotguns and the ever popular Benelli Vincis and M2s. As at other shoots, the Beretta SV10 Prevail has proved a hit, with New Zealand hunters making the most of the recent sharp pricing to get their hands on this beautiful gun.

Napier Duck Shoot 2013
Wooly and Dylan from HF Guns and Tackle pulled out all the stops this year to run a fantastic shooting day in Napier. With a wide selection of Beretta and Benelli guns to try out and well as a full range of Beretta clothing, there was something for everyone. Beretta’s AJ came down from Auckland for the day and was delighted to award the draw prize Beretta AL3901 shotgun to the lucky winner.

Central Otago Duck Shoot 2013
Another beautiful Autumn weekend in Central Otago and another well attended duck shooters event. Larry, Scott and the team had a well organised, busy day with the Beretta SV10 Prevail and the A400 Xtreme proving particularly popular on the test stand.

Wairarapa Duck Shoot 2013
Over 100 people braved the cold at Wairarapa’s duck shooter day at Blue Rock gun club last weekend. The entire Wairarapa HF team were out in force and together with the gun club staff put on a well organised day with everyone getting to try all the current and new Benelli and Beretta shotguns.

Waikato Duck Shoot 2013
A huge turnout of 250 at Waikato gun club for the HF Waikato duck shooter day. Over 1250 rounds were shot as shooting enthusiasts and those new to the sport 'had a go’ with the range Beretta and Benelli shotguns including the new A300 Xtrema and the A400 Xtreme.

Christchurch Duck Shoot 2013
Cameron Moore and the entire Ballinger's team always have a well organised Duck shooters day with plenty of guns to try, well informed HF sales team and Beretta personnel to answer any questions and Cameron's partner Sharon working hard on the sausage sizzle. The result, a great turnout and a very happy prize winner.

Invercargill Duck Shoot 2013
New HF Invercargill owners Mike Stent and Gerald McRae were thrilled to be able to host NZ's first, and most southerly, Duck Shooters Shoot. Beretta NZ is always impressed by the number of enthusiastic Beretta shooter in this region and this shoot was no exception with the team fielding lots of queries on the new duck hunting and competition shotguns.

Nelson Duck Shoot 2013
The wettest day in Nelson for four months didn't deter the enthusiasm of Nelson HF's duck shooters day on St Patrick's day. Owner Chris Scully, partner Karen and team put on a great day's shooting with the happy prize winner being presenting his new Beretta 3901 from the shelter of the dry marquee!

692 NZ Launch
Some of New Zealand's leading Beretta shooters, Beretta stockists and press gathered together recently in West Auckland for the NZ launch of Beretta's new competition shotgun, the 692. Beretta NZ was pleased to welcome Beretta International's General Manager, Carlo Ferlito to New Zealand for the first time to present the new shotgun. Initial feedback for the gun was very positive. Stock is expected to land in New Zealand by June /July.

DTL Nationals 2013
Beretta attended the DTL Nationals in Hamilton recently as the High Gun sponsor. Christian Neubauer, Beretta gunsmith, was kept busy for the week in the Beretta marquee, servicing competitors Beretta guns. Beretta shooters were also keen to learn more about the new DT11 which was available at the practise trap along with the new Beretta shotguns for waterfowlers. Once again Beretta shooters did well with Gavin Searle taking out the Single Rise, Brian Hartley winning the NZ Double Rise, Dave Tuner winning the Triples Championship and Natalie Rooney the Ladies High Gun champion.

2013 North Island DTL's
Beretta staff had a great day at the recent North Island DTL nationals at Hutt Valley where over 120 competitors were shooting. Beretta shooters did well, with Nathalie Rooney winning the Ladies high gun, and brothers William and Cameron also taking away the Ball trap and Skeet titles. Brian Hartley, also a Beretta shooter, was highest overall in Point Score category.

Gorge Road Invercargill Club Shoot
Sales rep AJ Buttimore from Beretta was delighted to be able to attend this Invercargill club’s shoot on Waitangi day. As most of the club’s shooters are Beretta enthusiasts, they were keen to try out the new DT11 and talk to AJ about the forthcoming 692.

Beretta New Zealand Gunsmith Visits Sako Factory
Beretta New Zealand Gunsmith Christian Neubauer headed up to Finland for the launch of the TRGM10, Sako's new Multi Caliber Configurable Sniper Weapon for law enforcement and military only. After a few days at the launch he spent some time at the factory doing hands on training of different products and observing the different procedures and whats involved. This enhanced his own skills and understanding in order to deliver a better service to Beretta customers in New Zealand.

2012 Duck Season
Field report: The team were excited to get out with their new A400 Xtremes on opening weekend. The guns worked faultlessly with all loads and a noticeable difference was how shoulders and heads felt at the end of 3 days shooting - Kick Off3 and the new Kick Off Mega have virtually eliminated recoil. Roll on more Xtreme conditions and more birds!

DT11 Launch
Here at Beretta we were excited to recently host the New Zealand launch of Beretta’s new competition over and under, the DTL11. Leading Beretta stockists, press and competition shooters gathered in Auckland to hear a presentation from Beretta Italy personnel who had flown to New Zealand to launch this exciting new gun in this year of the London Olympics. And then they headed off to Waitemata Gun Club to try it out. The verdict?...a very smooth, accurate and great looking gun and a worthy successor indeed to the hugely successful DT10. Keep your eye out for a more comprehensive review in Rod and Rifle magazine in the next few months. The DT11 will be available in New Zealand by the middle of the year. Sika Show 2011
Once again Beretta New Zealand were delighted to attend the 2011 Sika Show in Taupo on the 15th and 16th of October. Thousands of hunters poured through the hall over the two days keen to check out the latest rifles, scopes and hunting gear. On the Beretta stand, the launch of the new Beretta Xtreme Shotgun caught the attention of many and Beretta staff were on hand to answer lots of questions cover the whole Beretta range including the hugely popular Sako and Tikka rifles, Burris scopes and new Steiner and Burris hunting binoculars.
