This is a light, easy to carry rifle which makes a heck of a lot of difference walking around the Kaimai ranges in the BOP. Very sleek, good lines, and seems to come naturally to your shoulder (having said that, I use a cheek pad on the stock due to raised optics).
Love the shape of the entire stock. Very accurate out to 200m -- I don't shoot much of anything past that so couldn't say much more -- and the recoil is comparable to a .223 if not slightly less recoil than that (I'm shooting .308). Their butt pad does the biz, alright.
Mine has the internal mag with the steel release plate underneath as I didn't want an external magazine. Bloody mint rifle. My only gripe with mine is that it didn't come with iron sights; then and again, I'm old school.
Highly recommend getting your mitts on one of these.
Got one in .308 last year and haven't looked back. I hunt in NZ bush so first and foremost, these things are rugged and can handle a beating. Accuracy is mint but know most my shots are 200m or less, plus I use a low magnification scope for our conditions.
I love the design; it's light, is well balanced and just "holds well" in your hands, especially the fore end shape. The 60-degree bolt throw is fantastic; no scraping your scope business.
Big plus is the butt: I don't know what's in it but it soaks up recoil like there's no tomorrow. For a .308 I feel like I'm shooting a .223 so primo job there, people. Absolutely love this rifle.
